On Friday February 19, 2016 Virgin Galactic Owner and CEO Sir Richard Branson unveiled the brand new Virgin Galactic Space Tourism spacecraft V.S.S. Unity happy Virgin Galactic Mojave Desert spaceport. She will replace the one lost the V.S.S. Enterprise in the tragic accident last year.
V.S.S. Enterprise's co-pilot Michael Alsbury accidentally triggered her wing feathering manuever right after main engine ignition just after separating from mother ship White Knight 2 on October 31st 2014.
Richard Branson stated as of now the V.S.S. Unity will remain on the ground doing preliminary testing on all electrical spend life support and flight systems. getting the fine ground work done before they start flight operations.
Richard Branson's not one to be waylaid by a technical glitch or tragedy. And he is adamant about returning the flight with Virgin Galactic and launching his space tourism sector that is bad company.
